My dad had an appointment today to discuss the results of a CAT scan that was done in early January. The results are in and....there was NO cancer on the scan. Yup...it's gone or at least not visible on the scan. *SHOCK*
What more can I say? The grumpy old stubborn Scot won this round!!! He has been told that it's very possible for it to come back and that he'll have to continue to be monitored. However, for now, he's all clear. Nett is on Cloud 9 and will probably be on the phone telling everyone the good news for a week. lol
If you are sitting there in shock and disbelief...you are not alone. It's just a remarkable recovery. The doctor says that this isn't a common thing. (no kidding). Anyway, back in July were were told that he wouldn't recover from this and 7 months later he has!!! WooHoo!
It's a great day!!!
