Summer Stuff....

Alright folks...you've been asking for photo's of the boys and my dad so here they are.

Wyatt starts JK on Wednesday and I've very excited for him. He's a smart little boy that I hope will find school interesting

Fraser starts his second year of his pre-school class . He is excited because a bunch of his little friends will be going on the same days. He's a social little fellow.

We spent a lot of time at the cottage this year but I was forced home early a few times. Once to attend the funeral of a longtime friend Lisa. Rest in Peace my friend. You will be missed.

The second time was to help with my dad. He was pretty low on fluids and needed a little help. Last week I had the pleasure of attending my dads retirement party (yes...he finally retired) at JP O'Briens Irish Pub downtown. It was a wonderful time. We had bagpipes, Guinness and great company. (photo's included here). It was inspiring to see Jimmy in his element with all his buddies. His boss John at DMC put on this big party for my dad and we are very grateful and amazed at their generosity. I loved the fact that I got to meet all these guys I've heard my dad talk about for the last few years.

As summer ends, and seasons change it's a time of reflection for me. I'm sad as I realize that our time with Jimmy is so limited. I find it very tough to articulate my feelings..probably because I'm so overwhelmed. We love him and want to keep him with us as long as possible but I'm torn with seeing him suffer.
