Summer...

Hey gang,

I'm back from the cottage and ready to get back at things. If you haven't heard already, I chased a bear out of the cottage. He tore through the screen and helped himself to a full tin of home baked cookies. (GRRRRR...) Anyway, we chased him out and nobody was harmed. However, it was a good wakeup call that we are in their neck of the woods and should take precautions.

Now, I always feel bad when I leave my classes for a few weeks. I left them in very capable hands (Claudine, Karen & Jeanette) but I still feel like I'm letting people down when I'm not there. Thanks to those wonderful ladies for taking over my classes. 6am is an ugly time of day and I am grateful for the support.

While I was on vacation I visited the Haliburton Indoor Cycling Studio and met with Andrea (the owner). She is lovely and full of energy and passion. It was a great experience checking out a new facility and having someone take me through a ride. I am planning to go back when I'm at the cottage in August. I have also agreed to be a guest instructor so that they can experience another instructors style. (now to figure out what profile to spin).

Songs I'm loving at the moment are: Party Rock Anthem - LMAFO, Pause - Pitbull, Moves Like Jagger - Maroon 5. Also the whistling on the chorus of "I Wanna Go" by Britney Spears is stuck in my head that I might just have to work that into a class soon.
